The PWP is a body set up with Personal Watercraft as the sole focus, our aim being to assist any authority, council, marine police unit or Harbour master in the UK in managing the Personal Watercraft use in their area. 

We are solely funded by the PWP partners so that we are able to offer you this service totally free of charge. 

We have over 10 years of experience and 100's of success stories as a result of our work with authorities - our aim is to help you create a unique PWC management plan that works for you. 

Regular meetings have been attended at a number of harbour authorities both large and small to discuss the ongoing use of PWs in their particular areas. 

The PWP has always received a fair hearing and never a cold shoulder. Invariably the comment has been, "What can we do to help?" The benefits of being pro-active rather than reactive! 

Byelaws are always being looked at and a very careful eye is kept on this. For example, in Teighmouth, new byelaws were put through, to help with the use of PWCs in the area in a very sensible manner. 

Along with other agencies the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) has been particularly helpful in this regard, providing their support to the PWP's actions and objectives.
