Harbour Authorities

Regular meetings have been attended at a number of large harbour authorities to discuss the ongoing use of PW in their particular area. The PWP has always received a fair hearing and never a cold sholder. Invariably the comment has been, "What can we do to help?" The benefits of being pro-active rather than reactive!

Bylays are always being looked at and a very careful eye is kept on this. For example, in Teignmouth new bylaws are currently being put through to help with the use of PW in the area in a very sensible manner.

Along with other agencies the MCA (Marine Coastguard Agency) has been particularly helpful in this regard in providing their support to the PWP's actions and objectives.
