The Partnership has continued the work of the MEEMA Committee over the past years by running a series of PW road shows. These presentations are aimed at explaining what modern PW's are about to national and local authorities, harbour masters, associations etc.

Delegates are always given the change to try riding craft in addition to a formal presentation. The majority of sceptical individuals will return to the shore wearing wide grins and declaring "I didn't realise just how much fun these are!" As David Pouger comments, "We always end up making a lot of friends, which is what this is all about. It is then easy to talk about water access and, if necessary, management programmes. On the whole people are most receptive about our recommendations.
