It is widely accepted that the entire insurance market has been though difficult times recently but both companies have continued to work tirelessly to secure underwriters for the industry.
PW Insurance - Yes you do need it!
Before you say goodbye to your salesperson and drive to the nearest stretch of water for some fun, remember, you need insurance!
If you damage your PW on the road it will not be covered, so get on the phone immediately and get insured. It is essential to protect and secure your craft properly against damage, but also theft - with some craft worth over 12,000-00 you would be a fool to put it all at risk without full cover.
Make sure that you have covered for theft of your PW but also of your trailer and not only from your permanent place of storage, like your garage, but also from a temporary residence, launch site or beach. There is also liability to consider - third party claims can run into millions (you never know what or who you might hit) and these policies also cover third party risks whilst towing wakeboarders or inflatables.
Most launch sites and clubs require evidence of insurance before you launch, plus all good insurance companies provide waterproof documents, so there's no excuse...
